Well, I have been pretty busy with my new friend, Willow. She's an ex-racer from Florida, but is still pretty fast in the backyard. Frankly, I think it's ALL height. If I were that tall, I'd beat her by a mile! If you want to bring a Greyhound into your life, please send me an email :)
- Buyer's Agent- Yes or No?
- A lot of people wonder whether they really need a Buyer's Agent or not.
Well, think about this:
The Seller's Agent represents the person whose house they listed. Their job is to get the highest
price for their clients.
So there you are, looking to buy a home and who is representing YOUR best interests? Who is looking to make sure YOU get the home of your dreams for the lowest possible price? If you don't have yourself a Buyer's Agent in your corner, the answer is NO ONE! Think about it....

- Questions to ask BEFORE you list your home with a REALTOR
- Ok, now back to business :) A few questions you should ask before listing
with a REALTOR:
1. Will you be charging me a broker's fee upfront?
2. If the buyer defaults, who will be keeping the earnest money deposit the
buyer put up?
3. If I am not happy with your service, can I get out of the listing contract?
PS Email me and I will tell you how me and my mom would answer
those questions :)

Ok, I know this isn't real estate related, but I was reading your
profile
and wanted to know who is Mookie??
Well, Mookie was , a few months back, a pretty darned pint-sized
puppy that I used to rollover quite easily. I dunno what my mom has
been feeding him, but he is HUGE! AND, he's only 4 months old-yikes!
Now I am THE ruler of the pack, but it's getting a bit tougher these days
keeping Mookie clear on that. Email me and I will send you a picture!

Yes! Get prequalified BEFORE you go home shopping. Your offer will then carry more weight with the seller. Keep in contact with your Buyer agent so you can be the first to know when a new listing comes on the market. Be ready to make a decision! Spend time in advance deciding what you must have so you won't be uncertain when you get the chance to make your offer. Bid competively! Do not bid too low in this hot market or you will risk losing out to a more savvy buyer. Keep contigencies to a minimum! Stating that you need to sell your home BEFORE you can move will make your offer very unattractive.
