Answer
How do I copy the originating link of a feed in the RSS Feed Directory for my own favorite RSS Reader?

While viewing the feed you're interested in, "right click" the XML/RSS icon next to the title and select "copy link location" or "copy shortcut".

You can also just click on it, and it will take you to the original feed. From there you can copy the url from the address bar of your browser.

How do I view RSS Feeds

You can retrieve RSS feeds using an rss reader, Firefox (built into the bookmarks), from the RSS Feed Database on this website, and various other ways. The RSS Resources page has links to various RSS and Atom feed directories.

What does it mean to "subscribe" to a feed?

The subscriptions page is your personal favorite RSS / Atom feed page.

You can subscribe to feeds offered in our RSS database by hitting the subscribe button while viewing a feed.

Once subscribed to the feed you can always view your feed by visiting the subscriptions page on our site.

By subscribing to all your favorite rss/atom feeds, you can easily read them all on one page, without having to visit each feed page individually in our database.

Or, if you are a My Yahoo! user, you can select the My Yahoo! button to have the feed automatically added to your My Yahoo! home page.

What does RSS stand for?

Really Simple Syndication

What is RSS?

The below answer was obtained from xml.com.

RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites, including major news sites like Wired, news-oriented community sites like Slashdot, and personal weblogs. But it's not just for news. Pretty much anything that can be broken down into discrete items can be syndicated via RSS: the "recent changes" page of a wiki, a changelog of CVS checkins, even the revision history of a book. Once information about each item is in RSS format, an RSS-aware program can check the feed for changes and react to the changes in an appropriate way.

What will RSS do for me?

RSS / Atom feeds allow users to quickly see the headlines and new content from their favorite websites, without having to actually visit the website. If the new headline or content interests the user, then they can visit the website to read the whole story if not already provided in the feed.

Where do I find RSS, Atom, and Podcast feeds

Our RSS directory contains quite a few different feeds to choose from. If you cannot find your favorite feed, you can usually find them offered from the actual web site you're interested in. The website www.syndic8.com is another great RSS, Atom, and Podcast resource to find syndicated feeds at. Please be sure that if you find a feed elsewhere, that is not already in our database, please submit the feed to us so that other users can enjoy it also. You can submit the feed at this link: Submit Feed
